Kinga Wolter has spent over a decade working with and loving Archicad.

Her experiences in the AEC industry span over 3 continents and almost 3 decades.

She was born in Hungary, Europe and started working at the age of 18 at her family company as a drafter (paper and technical pens, of course) and soon grew into a leading role. Her early education in Hungary included 4 years in college in economics and 4 years in architecture, both finished remotely, next to her full time job. For the following 12 years she had been the leading residential designer of the firm, she also had taken part in on-site construction management along with many other business management related tasks.

After 2008 she embarked on a different journey since she was awarded with a scholarship for studying the Chinese culture and language in the province of Hainan, China. Her whole family had been avid travelers before that one year, but that experience changed her forever. She felt fascinated with the country and the following year she found herself in Zhengzhou, Henan, as an architectural designer and consultant for Chinese clients at a French company. Their projects varied from masterplan designs through club hotels and commercial buildings to single and multi-family residential buildings.

In 2010 she was introduced to Archicad and it was love at first sight. Delivering high quality material produced by a user friendly and compact software allowed her to focus on the design itself instead of the use of a software. She had the feeling that the future had started.

As politics changed the market, her 6 years in China had to come to an end. She arrived in the United States in 2015 and within a year she started her new role as a BIM Manager / Archicad trainer in Florida. In the coming years she has further advanced her Archicad skills, trained dozens of colleagues, as well as delivered many top end residential projects.

She has obtained the GRAPHISOFT Certified BIM Manager title in 2017 and has been working with companies, helping them to reach their goals in productivity and optimization, and passing over her enthusiasm about Archicad.

She lives in Sarasota with her husband David and their two cats Fawn and Fairy. Outside of work she enjoys the Floridian sunshine and the sea, loves traveling, cooking and spending quality time with friends.
